21st June 2010 (WAM) -- H. H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Fujairah, has a resolution restructuring the administrative body of the Fujairah Council for Education and Academic Affairs under the chairmanship of Rashid Saif Al Hafiti. According to the resolution, Aysha Al Yamahi was named deputy chairman of the council. The membership included Dr. Sulieman Ali Abed, Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Khuzaimi, Khalifa Mattar Al Ka'abi, Hamdan Rashid Rashoud, Suhail Rashid Al Qadhi, Dr. Salim Abdou Khalil and Juma Khalfan Al Kindi. Resolution no 7 of 2010 stipulates that the administrative staff will serve tenure of three years.

Fujairah Career Fair is 3 day annual event organized by the Human Resources Department, Government of Fujairah. This year, the 4th Fujairah Career Fair was inaugurated by His Highness the Crown Prince Shaikh Mohamed Bin Hamad Al Sharqi at the Fujairah Expo Centre on Tuesday, May 11, 2010. More than 40 organizations from UAE Government and Private Sectors received young and educated job aspirants who visited the Fair. It was explained to the Expo visitors the types of industries and jobs available at the current market scenario along with various trainings on the offer. Mr. Khaleifa Al Zeyoudi, Director of Human Resources, Government of Fujairah, awarded the Certificate of Participation to all participant organizations in a felicitation lunch hosted at the Farm House by Mr. Mohamed Al Mulla, owner of Mulla Group, on May 13, 2010.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, attended today opening of the Fujairah Media Forum, held under the theme 'Media: Coverage and making of events'. In the opening speech, Nohammed Saeed Al Dhanahani, Director of the Fujairah Ruler's Court, referred to the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, UAE Supreme Council member and ruler of Fujairah in making the emirate a beacon of cultural excellence.

WAM Fujairah, Oct 11th, 2009 (WAM): UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah HH Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi stated that the United Arab Emirates is a country blessed with security, safety, peace and stability that guaranteed progress and prosperity for the citizens and residents living on its territory. In an exclusive interview with Abu Dhabi TV on the occasion of the filming of the second movie in a series of documentaries produced by the television on the founders of the UAE, Sheikh Hamad also said that the decisions by the UAE Supreme Council are issued in consultation and mutual consent among members of the Council. He thanked God for blessing the nation with its first President in the person of Late Sheikh Zayed who served the country with self-giving and dedication. President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan followed Zayed's footprints in leading the country after him, Sheikh Hamad said. Excerpts from the interview: Q- In the first ministry that was formed after the federation, Your Highness assumed the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries. According to a view, the choice of this portfolio came from the fact that the Emirate of Fujairah is an agricultural land and has experience in this. How do you see this view ? What would you say to us about your work in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries in the early life of the country? A- Perhaps this opinion is true based on the fact that a large section of the citizens of Fujairah were working in agriculture and fisheries .At the beginning of the Union the ministries were not equipped. There were no trained cadres, especially among citizens. At the ministries, we were suffering a lot from a lack of technical cadres among citizens. But thank God, through our hard work we could build the ministry and build its infrastructure and organizational structure. Q- Your Highness, you worked along with three great persons among the founders of the United Arab Emirates including Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum and Late Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad al-Sharqi; Will you tell us about your vision of these personalities? A- God's mercy be on them all. The truth is that these figures are historical personalities. And they were all great. They were the basis for the Union. They made great efforts in the period before the existence of the Union, leading the political movement for years before the Declaration of the Federation. Undoubtedly the most prominent role was that of the Late Sheikh Zayed, who put all things in place along with his brothers who founded the Union. Q- Tell us about your relationship with Late Sheikh Zayed. A- My relationship with Late Sheikh Zayed was the relationship of a son with his father. He felt so comfortable with me always. He was telling me things I did not have the experience in them. He used to guide me. His words were true, whenever he spoke about the past or the future. He used to predict things in perfection. He had a vision of the future as a leader. In fact, I have learned a lot from him
